As the worldwide vaccination against COVID-19 virus is strongly progressing, the opportunities for organizing sports events under controlled safety measures are becoming more and more common.
Considering this favorable worldwide development, the UMB in cooperation with the Koninklijke Nederlandse Biljart Bond (KNBB), will host the 2021 World Cup of Veghel (NL) to take place from 7th to 13th of November 2021.
The invitation for inscriptions will open on Monday 27th September 2021.
The entry formalities for the Netherlands, considering the COVID-19 pandemic, follow the common safety measures, requiring either a proof of full vaccination or an official international negative PCR test, without quarantine obligation.
For Players, Referees, and officials, from outside the Schengen area (EU), an exemption protocol from the Dutch National Olympic Committee and Ministry of Sports will be applied to facilitate the entry procedure. Therefore, a special online form must be filled out and submitted to the KNBB.
The participant will then, in due time, receive an invitation letter to be presented at the customs upon Entry in the Netherlands, avoiding possible quarantine and other COVID-19 formalities.
