The Union Mondiale de Billard and Kozoom International reached a worldwide Media Rights exclusive agreement.
UMB and Kozoom Multimedia have been working together in a close partnership agreement since 2010, in the promotion of Billiards Sport through the worldwide broadcasting of major UMB events.
The agreement was signed today, Friday April 22nd, 2016 in Bottrop, Germany, by UMB president Mr. Farouk Barki and by Mr. Xavier Carrer and Mr. William Oh, representing Kozoom, in the presence of UMB Vice-President Mr. Fernando Requena and UMB Secretary General Mr. Rainer Selgrath, assisted by UMB legal advisor Mr. Erhard Schran.
Farouk Barki: "This agreement marks a new era of ambitious UMB event broadcasting that will enormously contribute in the professional promotion of our sports; I am sure, to the satisfaction of Players, Public, Organizers and Sponsors; promotion that our sport deserves, bringing it, next to the spectacular high technical level, to a higher level of professional sports exposure.
