Torsten Danielsson, UMB Delegate: “This event marks the beginning of a new era of Carom billiards worldwide. The best 5-Pins players in the world compete with 1115 players in achieving the title as World Champion 2015”.

This event is not only a WC in 5-Pins but also a multi event with finals of the Italian Championship in Three Cushion for both Juniors and Seniors, the Biathlon Italian Championship and Italian Championship in Snooker. At the same time an international Longoni tournament in Pool will be executed on 12 tables not to forget the amazing Boccetto International Tournament where the audience will recognize how billiard can be played without a cue”!
I am sincerely impressed by the organization of FIBIS (Italian Billiard Federation) – where the president Andrea Mancini and Gabrio Volante from CEB (European Billiard Federation) are playing the main roles together with dozens of voluntarily lovers of 5-Pins billiards , says Torsten Danielsson, who is leading this event for UMB.

Very positive was the impression of the “open” qualification for the first time in a World Championship in 5-Pins.
