The challenging brilliant Turkisch Player completed a tournament, after his spectacular victories, with a favorite profile. In the final Match he defeated (40-34 in 17inn) his opponent, no one less that Torbjörn Blomdahl. (SWE).
The third place in this tournament went to Eddy MERCKX (BE) and Jae Ho CHO (KR).
Quyet Chien TRAN was the best local Player who reached the quarter finals with a spectacular performance.
The numerous and enthusiastic public, the amazing high level quality of the Vietnamese Players, for many of us yet unknown, and the tremendous high scores, characterize this World Cup that was kept for the first time in Vietnam. A positive experience for all participating Players coming from over the World who enjoyed a magnificent setup and a heartwarming hospitality.

In a few weeks a new Challenge is coming up in Asia, South Korea. The experienced team of GURI will consecutively organize the World Championship Juniors and the traditional World Cup of GURI. A new perspective to enjoy in admiration the performances of the greatest Three-Cushion Players worldwide.
