We are pleased to inform some decisions taken by the Committee of the UMB for information.
UMB-Office
Mr. Santos Chocron has been appointed as Office Manager of the UMB for the current electing period. He will be assisting the Board on current and new administrative matters.
Players Motivation Incentives.
Starting from the season 2015/2016 an amount of € 24.000,00 has been reserved to be distributed among the best 12 players of the final World Cup ranking (the detailed repartition of this amount over the twelve first players is to be found in the WC regulations). This incentive will be carried out for the next three years. The UMB Board considers that this initiative will contribute to the motivation of players to reach among the first twelve ranked players.
New database.
A new database will be built in the near future containing important information regarding the Confederations and Federations affiliated to the UMB. This information is necessary to provide us with statistical information that will guide us into new policies and marketing approach. The UMB Board counts upon the collaboration of the partners involved.
World Championship 5-Pins.
New rules have been adapted to make this championship more attractive for the organizers and participants. The new rules will be published soon on our website.
Korean Broadcasting TV.
An agreement has been reached with the Korean Broadcasting TV regarding the Broadcasting rights of the UMB events in South-Korea. This will bring the 3-Cushion community a step forward in the international promotion of our sports and provide an added value to our sponsors.
World Championship 3-Cushion for National Teams.
New organization rules have been established increasing the prize money to € 21.000,00 and attributing other financial costs to the benefit of the participants. These new rules have been published on our website. The UMB Board is convinced that, with this initiative, this important UMB event will better obtain the prestige and exposure that it deserves.
UMB General Assembly and Congress 2016.
The next UMB GA and Congress will be held in Cairo, Egypt, on Saturday October 8th, 2016. We are the Egyptian Federation very grateful for hosting our next General Assembly.
