The One-Cushion World Championship will be held in the charming French town of Saint Brevin, situated on the Atlantic coast in a marvellous and calm region famous for its beaches.
The last edition of this World Championship took place in the Spanish town of Cervera, where the German player WOLFGANG ZENKNER beat JEAN PAUL DE BRUIJN (NL) in the finals, and other two specialists in this discipline, FREDERIC CAUDRON (BE) and ARNIM KAHOFER (AT), completed the podium.
The latest reference is the Euro Gran Prix by the European Billiards Confederation (CEB) played this year in HOOGEVEEN, the Netherlands, where JEAN PAUL DE BRUIJN (16.58) won from XAVIER GRETLLAT (14.84) and JUAN ESPINASA (7.58) with FREDERIC CAUDRON (26.09) held the third position.
The upcoming championship is a must for fans and a new opportunity to enjoy this spectacular type of billiards which transmits a particular tension to the public.
