With a spectacular ceremony attended by the President of the Colombian Republic, the President of the IOC and of IWGA and many authorities and in a sporty and warm atmosphere yesterday was inaugurated the IX World Games.<o:p />
The billiard has participated in these Games four times and in this edition does so with 16 players in carom and our sportmen have been qualified during the previous sporting season.
Snooker goes this time with professional players while the Pool participates with men and women, ultimately 64 athletes will showcase the best of our sport and will fight for the 12 medals assigned to it.
