Italy’s Antonio La Manna, representing Campania, has been crowned the new UMB 5-Pin Billiards World Champion after defeating fellow Italian Ricardo Nuovo 6–1 in the final in Marcos Juárez, Córdoba, Argentina.
With a commanding performance, La Manna secured the title with the following set scores: 20/60, 60/44, 60/32, 60/47 and 60/30.
The victory sees La Manna crowned the 27th 5-Pin Billiards World Champion under the auspices of the World Billiards Union (UMB), adding another prestigious chapter to the history of the discipline.
The Italian champion controlled the final with authority, overcoming his compatriot in a decisive display of precision, consistency and tactical maturity to claim the world title on Argentine soil.
Marcos Juárez, in the province of Córdoba, provided the stage for a memorable all-Italian final, with La Manna ultimately emerging as the new world champion.
Corrado Falbo, New U22 5-Pin World Champion
Italian player Corrado Falbo, from Avola, in the province of Syracuse, Sicily, has been crowned the new UMB U22 5-Pin World Champion, following his victory at the second edition of the Junior World Championship, organized by the Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB).
Falbo defeated his fellow Italian Emanuel Cucchiara, the first-ever Junior World Champion in the discipline, 4–1 in the final, which was played as a best-of-five-sets match.
The new world champion secured the title with set scores of 60–44, 23–60, 60–46 and 60–41, adding his name to the list of champions and succeeding Cucchiara as the reigning U22 world champion.
With this victory, Italy once again takes the top spot on the podium in a competition that brings together the world's finest young players in the 5-Pin discipline.

From August 26 to 30, the San Martín Club in Marcos Juárez, Córdoba province, will become the center of international five-pin billiards.

2026 5-Pin World Championship Semifinalists
After 3 AM Argentina time, the semifinalists for the 2026 World Five-Pin Billiards Championship in Argentina were announced.

This Sunday, August 30, after 5 PM (ARG), we will find out who the new World Five-Pin Billiards Champion is.
Admission to the World Championship stadium is free and open to the public from 10 AM, and capacity will be increased.
