New procedure for lifting the suspension by UMB
At a meeting on March 22, the UMB Executive board decided on a new procedure for lifting suspensions based on participation in international events/tournaments not sanctioned by the UMB and not listed on the UMB sports calendar. Any suspension based on this ground may be immediately lifted if the following conditions are met:

The player's suspension has been active for more than 1 year.

The UMB has received a request from the federation to which the player belongs to lift the player's suspension.

The federation’s request states that the player will no longer participate in competitions not authorized by the UMB and assures us that he will not do so in the future.
The UMB hopes that all players and the sport itself will benefit from this regulation.
