Affiliation and cooperation with CBSA for Carom development in China.
The Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) and the Chinese Billiards and Snooker Association (CBSA) have entered an agreement in the form of an MOU to promote 3-Cushion Carom Billiards, in all its facets, in China.
CBSA has in the meantime become affiliated to the Asian Carom Billiard Confederation (ACBC)
Shanghai 3-Cushion Masters Exhibition Event.
For the first time in China, on 23rd and 24th September 2023, a 3-Cushion Exhibition Event will take place in Shanghai where four prominent UMB Top Players - Dick JASPERS (Ned), Tayfun TASDEMIR (TUR), Quyet Chien TRAN (VIE) and Myung Woo CHO (KOR) - will perform exhibition matches in two daily sessions, starting 14:00, local time, with a clinic for young Chinese players going on simultaneously, with a view to introducing and promoting Carom inside of China.

A visit to Yushan city is planned on 25th September, to the Billiard Academy, the Billiard Museum, and the STAR tables factory.
