UMB, May 18th, 2023.
A meeting between UMB / KBF / Five&Six and PBA, Mr. Heejin Lee, will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, to find new ideas and solutions for the UMB / PBA issues. All parties are looking forward to this meeting and a possible UMB / PBA future cooperation together.
Mr. Heejin Lee will also be visiting Europe on June 11th, 2023, to attend a meeting with CEB and some of the European Federation Representatives, this meeting will take place in Amsterdam. As agreed during the recent CEB General Assembly in Valencia on Saturday, May 13th, 2023, this meeting will give Mr. Lee the opportunity to present new ideas for a possible future cooperation without any decisions being taken at this time.
During last few days fake images were spread on social media suggesting a CEB and PBA cooperation. The CEB has strongly denied this news in a statement issued yesterday (https://www.eurobillard.org/news/ceb-statement-297.html). Fake images & news such as this offer a negative view to incite conflict and are not offering a beneficial influence on our sport.
The UMB is looking forward to both meetings, Ho Chi Minh City and Amsterdam. Agreements reached on a global level under the UMB umbrella offer a positive outlook to 3 Cushion Billiards.
