As a result of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey the UMB published an announcement on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023, cancelling the Ankara World Cup. This decision was taken between the UMB, the TBF and the Turkish Government.
An international Media Company has published an article that obviously shows a lack of understanding of the actual situation as it happened. To clarify, Mr. Ersan Ercan, the TBF President, has outlined the situation on Wednesday, February 8th, 20023, in the self-explanatory letter below.
